Instructions
  1. Dry roast the ragi and rava separately on medium flame. Roast for 3 to 4 minutes. Transfer contents into a large mixing bowl. Allow it to cool.
  2. Once the ragi and rava have cooled, add salt and mix well. Now add the buttermilk and whisk well.

  3. Add the water and whisk again. Add more water if needed to get the correct consistency.
  4. Allow this idli batter to rest for 20 to 25 minutes. Keep covered.
  5. After the batter has well rested, once again whisk it. Adjust consistency of batter with water if required.
  6. Just before steaming, add 1 large pinch of baking soda.

  7. Now get the TTK Prestige Multi Kadai ready to steam the Healthy Instant Ragi Rava Idli/ Finger Millet Semolina Idli.
  8. Into the Multi Kadai, add water upto the mark and heat.
  9. Grease the idli moulds and pour the idli batter in using a ladle.

  10. Place the idli moulds in the TTK Prestige Multi-Kadai. Cover with glass lid and steam for 10-12 minutes on a medium flame.
  11. Once done, open the lid of the kadai and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
  12. Once rested, demould the idlis and serve hot with piping hot sambar or chutney of your choice.
